FAQ - Commitment Contracts - Financial Commitments

Is there a service charge for making a Financial Contract?

No. There is no service charge for creating any type of Commitment Contract.

If I make a Financial Contract, will I be charged immediately for the amount I want to put at stake?

Nope. No matter what kind of Commitment you create and regardless of how much you put on the line, we won't charge you a penny upfront. As friendly as we are however, we also promise not to cut you any slack if you can't meet your goal. If an unsuccessful report is submitted, the debit or credit card you provided will be billed the amount of that particular reporting period within 48 hours.

*stickK will authorize your credit card for $1.00 to ensure that your credit card information is valid. This temporary hold will be removed after 30 days.

Then why does stickK ask me for my billing information upfront?

When you put money on the line for a Commitment Contract, we want to ensure that we can hold you accountable, if the time comes. Providing your account information upfront gives us the ability to keep you working hard towards success. But not to worry, your credit card will only ever be charged for an unsuccessful reporting period.

Why do I see a charge on my billing statement for stickK.com even though I have been successful in my Commitment?

stickK automatically authorizes all credit cards for $1.00 to ensure that your credit card information is valid. But not to worry, no debit actually takes place unless you have submitted an unsuccessful reporting period. The authorization places a $1.00 hold against your balance for a 30 day period, and will then be removed.

Is it safe to give my credit card information to stickK?

Absolutely! We have taken every precaution to ensure that your information is always protected and 100% confidential. We've teamed up with VeriSign to bring you enhanced protection. View our security measures for more information.
