Three times, Yoga, and two elliptical sessions at the Y. It's been a good eight weeks despite illness and setback. Thanks, Pete!

Yes, three times: Yoga on Monday, and elliptical at the Y on Thursday and Saturday. My new Fitbit is much better at automatically recording exercising, but I don't have a complete week of statistics. I'm going for steps in London. I know that StickK helped me stick with it this past month, especially. Even with two unsuccessful periods -- being sick, primarily -- I'm still feeling pretty good. I'll be back with another goal after my bout of traveling is done.

Today as I was finishing up the third workout of the week, I found myself thinking: twenty minutes and I never have to work out again! Was that the purpose of this? Is that the kind of habit i'm forming? I hope not. If anything, it is at least one sign that the StickK contract has coercive power over me. I will consider doing it again. But not for a while. This next week is school wrapping up and preparation for London. My goal was to be in better shape to walk all over, and I think I've accomplished that. I'm going to let next week take its course and then rack up the steps. My old fitbit gave up the ghost, but in the couple of days I've had the new one, it seems to work better and give me more information. Yes, it recognized my elliptical workout. It automatically recorded my sleep. The heartrate was very much in line with what the machines at the Y were recording. Let's see if I can keep up my activity without the incentive of money. And if not, I'll probably be back at the end of May trying to figure out a reasonable new goal. All in all, although I didn't make it for three week, I did manage it for the other 15, and that's not bad. Thanks.

Back on track this week with a pattern that is working well for me: Yoga on Mondays, something on Thursday afternoon, and a session at the Y on Saturday. I must be feeling better, because I've been hungry all week. Whatever my weight loss, I'm finding it much easier to get around. Plus, going shopping in my own closet makes me feel good too.

Rough this week, since I've been ill. But exercising actually helped clear me up... or so I'm willing to believe. Two DVD workouts at home and a session at the Y, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I'm actually somewhat tired, but glad to be back on track. Honestly, I just couldn't stand to let the NRA get a single penny more from me.
