| This was a tough one. My backsliding continues. I can only contextualize relative to personal and family illness and changes to my work reducing my focus. Nevertheless, I will maintain my commitment no matter what. I don't know how I can get caught up, but I do know how I can continue on: no matter what. I will continue tracking my weight and being honest. It is a time to really get serious in many areas. Looking back, I have made progress in more periods than not. Will that gain remain? | |

| This week I came down with some kind of flu again. More importantly, my mother was admitted to the hospital, and I have allowed the stress of that to interfere with my goal. Soon, I hope to resume progress toward my goal, and I will not quit. | |

| Two weeks not stalled but actually going in the wrong direction create a daunting prospect. But I will not be defeated and I will not quite. That said, it seems reasonable to expect that it will take another two weeks for me to get back on track. But as long as I resume losing weight, I will still be making progress. And what's most important to me is the ultimate target, not the interim goals. Thanks for your continued support. Know that i'm not discouraged! | |

| Oops. This week I blew it! $15 more to the Lincoln Project -- my penance. And hopefully back on track this week. Will be a tough one -- because I actually regained a bit. : ( | |
