Notice period clause: Changes take effect exactly 24 hours after the update time of the journal entry. In other words, the notice period is 24 hours. - No leisure time duration assuming priority over any task mentioned in the present journal entry shall be the reason to allow any task in the present journal entry to be finished after the deadline allotted to the task. For example, if I have x10 until the start of the succeeding day in AOE time and I have x10w of work pending for the present day in AOE time, then the only way to incur no penalty mentioned in the present stickk commitment at all is to work without any break sessions until the start of the succeeding date in AOE time. - Note on loopholes: I assume there are loopholes in all my Stickk commitments. When I exploit a loophole, in order for this loophole to be considered a valid reason for not incurring the penalty of the present Stickk commitment as defined in the present journal entry, I must state in digital or physical writing a satisfactory definition of the loophole that I have exploited in the considered instance. For this definition of the considered loophole to be considered valid, the following criteria must hold: --- I must end this definition with a period. --- I must write this definition of the considered loophole before exploiting the considered loophole. --- This definition of the loophole must not cite a bulleting error as a source of exploitation of the exploited loophole. --- I must put up a reminder in my PDA to prompt me to read the present journal entry in a near future SDEL (e.g. I can write: “SDEL: read infodiet commitment”) - Note on specificity of clauses: Since it is mostly impossible for any commitment to be specific enough for the person committing to it to not be able to exploit a loophole in this commitment, the level of generality of each commitment in the present journal entry shall be considered of the level that is same as present level of specificity of the respective commitment. - Relaxation clause: number of relaxation periods of any duration allowed for the present stick commitment is zero - Deep Work Stint (abbreviated as DW) is defined as a stint for which the following points hold: --- This should be eight x1 work sessions (i.e. a deep work stint) --- My phone (Infinix) must be continuously turned off for the duration of this session (except if someone other than myself asks me to turn on my phone and that person does so during the time my phone is turned off) --- When I use my Galaxy S9 during this work stink, I must switch on the Applock profile “DW”. Following are the additional clauses of Deep Work Stint related to Applock: ----- while this Applock profile is active, I am not allowed to access the apps blocked by this Applock profile ----- In order to disable this Applock profile during a Deep Work Stint, must write down: (1) purpose and (2) start and end time for disabling the Applock DW profile. The advanced notice period for disabling the Applock DW profile during a Deep Work Stint is five minutes before the start time of disabling the Applock DW profile. --- During the time duration I use my HP Probook 4540s during a DW stint, following rules apply. ----- From the Google Chrome browser for any Windows, I am not allowed to access any website, except: 1. Google Scholar website 2. Scopus website 3. All the websites that I can access from the search results of the aforementioned websites 4. www.stickk.com ----- In order to disable the restrictions applied to Google Chrome browser for Windows in the aforementioned clause of this Stickk journal enty, I must write down: (1) purpose and (2) start and end time for disabling the said restriction. The advanced notice period for disabling this restriction during a Deep Work Stint is five minutes before the start time of the said disabling of restriction. - A Big Day a.k.a. BD can be defined for certain dates inside this journal space by writing a journal entry with those dates or the dates at the endpoints of the consecutive dates including the following format: “Following dates are BDs: (date) (date) …” with the following rules applicable to these Big Days: --- a journal entry that sets Big Day date or Big day dates can not be overridden by another journal entry, except the journal entry including the following format: “Following dates are not BDs: (date) (date) …”. This clause exists to enable us to do a (task) --- notice period for setting a Big Day date is 24 hours before the Big Day begins --- the Big Day includes all the days considered as Big Days, for example a day before a travel date would also be a Big Day and must be included in the definition of the Big Day date --- Pre and post-BDs can be added only if there are more than two consecutive dates being set as Big Day dates --- The journal entry in which I define a Big Day date must also contain the following information: ----- The tasks which you are allowed to not do on the Big Day date without negatively affecting the streak for that day ----- In case of less than four consecutive Big Days, the dates by which I must make up the tasks which are forgone on those Big Days. The days on which I must do the make-up sessions mentioned in the last sentence must be mentioned inside the same journal entry in the following format: “I shall make-up (task) for the BDs on the following dates: (date) (date) …” Hense the format for the journal entry defining the BDs when the BDs are four or lesser number of consecutive days: “ Following dates are BDs: (date) (date) … Following RSTs from this stickk commitment can be skipped for the BDs without hurting their daily streak: (task) (task) … Given that I shall make-up for the Routine System Tasks foregone due to the BDs mentioned in the present journal entry on the following dates: (date) (date) … Example: Following dates are BDs: 2019-02-25 2019-02-26 2019-02-27 Following RSTs from this stickk commitment can be skipped on the BDs, wherever applicable, without hurting their daily streak: PhD MYOH HTTA Fawkes I must make-up for the Routine System Tasks foregone due to the BDs mentioned in the present journal entry on the following dates: 2019-02-22 2019-02-23 2019-02-24 (It can be noted that the aforementioned description of a Deep Work Stint includes inclusion of break x1's that would not count as the work sessions. This allows me to take breaks given that the rules of the Deep Work Stint hold i.e. my phone remains turned off and the DW Applock profile is kept active as constrained by the definition of the Deep Work Stint.) Penalty clause: - If I fall short of any of the commitments above on a day, then to compensate for the falling short on that day, the commitment is that I must tear a workable 10,000 KRW currency note into at least three pieces before 2359 in KST on the date which occurs exactly 24 hours after the end time stated in the present journal entry for each day on which the present stickk commitment is violated. - If the commitment in the present journal entry is not satisfied, I must pay the penalty of this commitment from my Kookmin debit card before Tuesday of the following week (AOE time).
