Commitments considered in the present Stickk commitment:
1. I will be at least 1 meter distant from every part of the building 17-22 (also known as Paradia) in Daegu, South Korea at 0744 every day, except Saturdays and Sundays. On Saturdays and Sundays, I will be at least 1 meter distant from every part of the building 17-22 (also known as Paradia) in Daegu, South Korea at 2214.
2. The following points:
2.1. in any instance of the closed time interval of 0630 in Korean Standard Time to 0930 in Korean Standard Time during the validity of the present journal entry, I will not sit or lie down on any chair, bed, floor, or stairs in the building 17-22 (also known as Paradia) in Daegu, South Korea. This point has been revoked for the entire duration of the date 2019-08-04 and shall apply after this date.
2.2. in any instance of the closed time interval of 0630 in Korean Standard Time to 0930 in Korean Standard Time during the validity of the present journal entry, I will not close my eyes continuously for more than 20 consecutive seconds in any open or closed time interval at all of 20 or more seconds contained in the time interval specified in the present point i.e. point 2.2., and anywhere within 5 feet of Cartesian distance of the periphery of my bed in the building 17-22 (also known as Paradia) in Daegu, South Korea which consists of a mattress and the wooden structure on which it rests. If this point, i.e. point 2.2., fails to hold true on a given morning, even if the said failure in accidental, the present Stickk commitment must be considered violated for that day.
3. Exceptions in this commitment are the following cases:
--- sitting on the toilet seat inside the restroom of the studio I live in when the following criteria is met:
----- I can use my Samsung Galaxy S9 only after I activate the Paradia Toilet applock profile on it
----- if my Samsung Galaxy S9 is not in the Paradia Toilet applock profile, then I must make it that the first thing before using this device
----- during this activity of sitting, I am not touching anywhere, with or without any clothes in between, except the surface of a toilet seat on which a person is supposed to sit
--- sitting on the wooden chair in the studio I live in when the following criteria is met:
----- purpose of this sitting activity is to wear socks
----- during this activity of sitting, I am not touching a desk with or without any clothes or bag in between
----- as soon as I sit, the next thing I should do is to wear socks and as soon as I have worn socks, I must get up.
--- All Saturdays and Sundays
Notes applicable to the present journal entry:
- notice period for revoking or designating new wake up time in the present Stickk commitment for a given day, including Saturday and Sunday nights, is the time of that day I am required to have the 1-meter distance from every part of the building 17-22 (also known as Paradia) in Daegu, South Korea minus 10 hours.
- For Saturdays and Sundays, the default value for the rule is "revoked". In other words, I am not obligated to go to office. But this is the default value, and can be overridden by a different time.
- Violation penalty per instance (i.e. per defaulted day): one usable 5000 South Korean Won currency note torn on that day before 9:59 p.m. If this action is not carried out, the quantity of the usable 5000 South Korean Won currency notes torn increases by one every six hours thereafter.
- All times stated by me in this journal entry are in Korean time zone and in accordance with zero offset from the time shown by the casio watch that I am wearing as I write this journal entry.
- I am not allowed to change the time shown on my casio watch for the purpose of avoiding the penalty associated with this stickk commitment
- This commitment can be revoked or altered for a given day by writing a journal entry of the format:
"(date)
"revoked (in case of revoking) or new time (in case of updated reaching time)"
e.g.
"2018-10-25
revoked"
or
"2018-10-25
9:54 a.m."
- Note on loopholes: I assume there are loopholes in all my Stickk commitments. When I exploit a loophole, in order for this loophole to be considered a valid reason for not incurring the penalty of the present Stickk commitment as defined in the present journal entry, I must state in digital or physical writing a satisfactory definition of the loophole that I have exploited in the considered instance. For this definition of the considered loophole to be considered valid, the following criteria must hold:
--- I must end this definition with a period.
--- I must write this definition of the considered loophole before exploiting the considered loophole.
--- This definition of the loophole must not cite a bulleting error as a source of exploitation of the exploited loophole.
--- I must put up a reminder in my PDA to prompt me to read the present journal entry in a near future SDEL (e.g. I can write: “SDEL: read infodiet commitment”)
- Note on specificity of clauses: Since it is mostly impossible for any commitment to be specific enough for the person committing to it to not be able to exploit a loophole in this commitment, the level of generality of each commitment in the present journal entry shall be considered of the level that is same as present level of specificity of the respective commitment.
- Relaxation clause: number of relaxation periods of any duration allowed for the present stick commitment is zero. |
