2nd Draft of "The Penitent" script

Need to have the 2nd draft of this ready to send to my "editor" for October 25th. Already have about 55 pages written of this, and hoping to get it around 110.
First week, 10 pages. 2nd week, 15 pages. 3rd week, 20 pages. 4th week. Finish and final edit.

Yes. I finished the second draft. It ain't pretty, but it's done. I will likely do another 2-week sprint to get to a 3rd draft before sending it to anyone, but I have accomplished my goal on this one in that I have a fully typed 2nd draft. Couldn't have done it without you, Danny-boy! |

Another nail-biter. But got it done - purely as a result of having this deadline. So - this system definitely works. And while I don't think my work/pages this week were particularly good, done is better than perfect. If you look in the folder, you'll see three files that are dated 10-17-18. Combined, they add up to 45 pages (10 first week, 15 second week, 20 this week). Now, the final push. A week from today, I need to have a finished draft ready to send to my "editor." Gonna be a long week... Thanks for monitoring, and hope we can catch up soon! |

Hit the 25 page mark last night. Getting into a good groove. Another 15-20 pages should probably take care of things, and then I can spend the following week doing final edits. Just got to make progress on a few pages each day, and I'll be good. Thanks for everything and hope to chat soon! ps. the files are labeled act2 and act3 in the folder. together, they should add up to 25 pages (10 from first week, 15 from this week) |

Phew. With an hour left until the system automatically marked me as "fail," I hit the end of the 10th page. I double-checked to make sure it was the full 10 too. Gonna share a new folder with you so that you can double-check my page count. Had an awesome time hanging with you and catching up this weekend. Really glad we got to do that. Thanks so much for all of your help and support with this. Excited to get going on this next one. Love you, man. Next one is 15 pages. I better figure this fuckin' screenplay out fast. Talk soon! |
