Polished Draft - Barstool Script Star this Commitment
Week 6 of 6

sjlanus commits to:
Earlier this year, I wrote a vomit-draft of a screenplay. Or most of it, at least. During these 6 weeks, I will re-write it into a polished script ready for sending out. Here is the timeline I am committing to:
Week 1) Page 5
Week 2) Page 15
Week 3) Page 30
Week 4) Page 50
Week 5) Page 75
Week 6) Page 100
At the end of Week 6, I will have a (roughly) 100 page screenplay to send out.

Up to page 103. Still got plenty to go. Will be creating a new "project" for the next 3 weeks in order to finish this once and for all.

Alright, another close one, but pulled it off. Current draft is up to 77 pages, and I might knock out another 3-4 tonight. Another 25 page week coming up til the end of this goal, but I will likely extend it another 2 weeks of 25 pages each, bringing the final total to 150 pages for this draft. Yes, longer, which was not the plan. However, I think it's getting better, and I will throw in a third week to the next Stickk project/goal thing which will consist of one more final edit in order to cut it down to 120 pages.

Not much else to say other than... writing is hard. But just gotta keep on meeting the goals, and it'll all be over soon enough.

Thanks for being an amazing task master!

Phew. I did it. It took longer than I thought, but that was also in part due to a crazy schedule including travel that knocked 3 days of the week out of commission for writing. Either way, reached page 50 with not a moment to spare, and now I got to get to page 75 in another week. Gonna be tough, and don't want to waste any second writing something other than the script.

Happiest of Birthdays my good man, Daniel. I got some Louisville bourbon with your name on it. Let's down some!

By the skin of my teeth. Had written 8 pages over the week and yesterday, and then need 7 more to go today. But I did it. Took a little longer than expected though. Finished 5.5 pages earlier today, then got caught up in going to yoga, Spanish, and a friends' jazz show. Nonetheless, finished the last page and a half to complete this week's goals.

As again, next week should be harder. 20 pages. Almost 3 pages a day. Hope I can make it happen.

But feel free to read the stuff that's there. If you have any comments, I'm all ears. Thanks again and love you brother
