limiting my recreational reading as follows, today: I'll allow myself to work on the private Joy Diet Risk Workspace post or 50 Dance Workspace post on LJ at any time. I'll allow myself to read the program at Dance-A-Rama. I'll allow myself to read book descriptions and listen to samples at audible.com at any time. I will wait until at least 8:00pm before I do any other recreational reading by eye, today, including any other LJ access. I will allow myself unlimited listening to audio before starting to use my 8:00pm internet window, today. I will not use the mp3 player after using any part of my 8:00pm internet window, today. If I do not use my 8:00pm internet window, today, then I'll allow myself unlimited audio listening until 10:32pm.
I will do at least one load of laundry, today, and I will run the dishwasher. I will cook rice and either vegetable soup or sausages and artichokes, today. I will not enter the password to circumvent Content Manager, Leechblock, or Chronager, today. To support myself in getting a full night's sleep and having time to center and to enjoy being alive before starting job work, tomorrow, I will not do any recreational reading or audio listening after 10:32pm, tonight. If I use my 8:00pm internet window, I will not listen to any audio after I get up from the computer, whether that's at 10:32pm or sometime in the previous couple of hours. My intent will be to be in bed with the lights out before midnight. I hereby remind myself that work will start with something interesting, tomorrow: the webcast re greening efforts.

| I did pretty well on this goal--didn't circumvent the internet pr audio restrictions, did do a load of laundry and run the dishwasher, and did cook rice and soup. However, I did do some late reading that maybe bordered on the recreational, and certainly headed toward escape territory--Great Courses catalog browsing. I think I have to call this one a failure. But definitely a good one. | |
