wrkinprogrss commits to:
waiting until at least 6:30pm to do any recreational reading or any audiobook listening, today. I will
not check *any* LJ pages until 6:30pm or later. Until that time, I will experiment with doing job work as my main priority. If I need a break, I can choose from house work, gentle exercise, tax work, journaling, th h/w, brief cartooning, or possibly composing notes to T&N or E. I'll allow myself to listen to music, but will not use the mp3 player before 6:30pm. I will start moving toward bed by 10:32pm, with the intention of having lights out by 11:15pm. I will remind myself that my odds of accomplishing that are better if I don't read or listen to any kind of recordings after 10:32pm.

| Think I'm going to call this a qualified success--quibbles are related to the items described in the post below. I did fine with audiobooks, LJ, and the mp3 player. I did mostly quiet prep for bed after 10:32pm, and had the lights out by 11:30pm. Good! | |

| Finding myself getting awfully close to the line, today, or maybe stepping over it: watched a video about Vita (Vida?) Verde (rec'd by email from Bioneers), and reread some emails related to fiction before deleting them. And am tempted, now, to go in search of more recreational reading. Sigh. | |
