wrkinprogrss commits to:
waiting until at least 5:30pm to do any recreational reading or any audiobook listening, today. I will not check *any* LJ pages until 5:30pm or later. Until that time, I will experiment with doing job work as my main priority. If I need a break, I can choose from house work, gentle exercise, tax work, journaling, th h/w prep, brief cartooning, or possibly composing a thank-you note to T&N. I'll allow myself to listen to music, but will not use the mp3 player before 6:30pm.
After my 6:00pm-7:00pm appointment, I will not do any recreational reading by eye until after I have a batch of soup cooking.

| Kept the spirit of this goal, but goofed up a little on the letter--did a few minutes of recreational reading in the library, between my 6:00-7:00 appointment and getting the soup cooked. However, it wasn't for long, and I didn't check out any new reading material, so I'm going to call it a qualified success. | |
