wrkinprogrss commits to:
concentrate on real-world concerns and issues, today, except between 6:30pm and 8:15pm, when I will allow myself to consume fiction.
I will do my best to resolve 12 S OR work items before 6:30pm, today. I will save no more than three items of fiction or RP threads in my 6:30 internet window. I will skip my 9:30 internet window. After 8:15pm, today, I will not listen to audio, or read for pleasure, or use the computer, or eat or drink anything further for the day, with the possible exception of plain water-and-medication. I will move towards retiring for the night as steadily as I can. I will make a serious effort to be in bed with the lights out by 9:00pm, and will definitely manage it by 10:00pm.

| Didn't manage the later parts of this goal: Wasn't willing to stop listening to recorded fiction or not eat after 8:15pm, and wasn't in bed with the lights out until 10:30pm. However, I did stay off the computer after 8:15pm (actually earlier). And my total recreational internet use for the day, including the 1 saved RP thread, was only 35 minutes, so I feel that the experiment was productive, even if not completely successful. For future reference, odds of succeeding with the whole thing would probably have been better if the evening hadn't included a trip to Robert's office to pick up more cold/flu formula, or if I had showered earlier in the day than I ended up doing. | |

No fic or RP before 6:30pm, and saved only 1 (admittedly large-ish) RP thread during the 6:30pm internet window. Earlier post was made at 6:30pm. |
