wrkinprogrss commits to:
concentrate on real world concerns and constructive actions until after I return from my evening acupunture appointment and fix myself some dinner, today -- I will not read, watch, write, or listen to fictional works until that time or after 10:32pm. I also commit to trying to notice any feelings or situations that immediately precede any cravings for escape into fiction, at any time when those may occur. And I commit to starting preparation for bed by 10:32, sharp, and to be in bed with the lights out by 11:00pm.

| Acupuncture appointment and dinner over. Watched some DVD lectures on the Brain. Getting ready to hunt for fiction for the first time, today. | |

| Did a little journaling, then 15 minutes of Doing Nothing / drowsing. Was able to do a little more work after that--a 25-minute segment. Then started getting ready for my acupuncture appointment. | |

| Thought about fic pretty continuously while in the shower. Feeling distinctly sulky, now. Put on the boogie-woogie YouTube stream, but it's not helping as much as it sometimes does. Maybe just not enough to look forward to? I am very tired of taking care of this body, and this heart-mind. Guess I will try some journaling next. | |
