72-75%, not 90%. Too bad. Good things: actually did make a schedule at the very beginning of the day, which I at least roughly followed. Actually scheduled and indulged in gfp, though i went too far and ended up procrastinating. But I got to enjoy two or three hours of good enjoyable relaxed rejuvenating time, which I normally don't get.

It's amazing how quickly I forget the most important principles about all of this. I forget to remember that 1 minute is a tragedy and that impulsively indulging myself, even for a little bit, inevitably leads to huge amounts of wasted time. It would be great if i could have reminded myself of that all the times when i was wasting time online at the library today.

1 minute is a tragedy. Letting myself go for a little bit creates an avalanche. This of how this last day went. Terribly depressing. Constant attempts to get back on and failing. Solution: never get off the track.

This time, I need to make this happen. I have been derailing myself for too long. Think of how long I've been trying to do this. Think of how many failures and setbacks and missed opportunities I've had in my life. A week from now, there will be a time to look more deeply and intensely at all the problems in my life and begin solving them. But for now, I just need to focus on getting my work done and maintaining some balance. Today was a horrible day and I barely had any actual fun even though I did no actual real work. I'm going to make things different tomorrow.
