| Downloaded the YNAB app and added spending goals/categories. I need to play around with it more to ensure it's something I can stick (ha) to updating regularly, if not I'll look into other apps/platforms. Usually the less noisy the easier it is for me to stick to. But even the initial process of laying out my major categories made me feel more in control! I typically don't have an issue meeting my savings goals (because most of that is automated from my bank account) or paying my fixed costs, but I don't have a good system in place for overall tracking or a transparent understanding of how I spend my discretionary money. I think I'm afraid to realize how much I spend on stupid things, when I could instead be saving or investing that money | |
