I commit to:
(1) Keeping a close eye on my finances so that I keep my current account in the "black" and only using funds from other accounts, in an emergency situation, (2) I also commit to keeping wasteful, remorseful or frivolous spending to a minimum. (3) I also commit to ensuring I quote slightly more that I anticipate work to cost,. based on time management, and not allow others to take advantage of my good nature - when it comes to payment.

| Start of a new year with new intentions. I'm hoping to be less wimpy when it comes to quoting for jobs and being more realistic about what I buy and also try to save a bit more money to contribute towards a healthy work/life balance. Let's see shall we! | |

Today I renewed my StickK Commitment to managing my Finances. While I now have a Finance Spreadsheet that tells me, to the penny, what I have in the bank, what I'm earning and what my credit card owes, I also use QuickBooks for my business, to help with tax. The StickK Report on a Monday helps me to focus the mind and ensure I don't just ignore that I am committed to something tangible. So far, from today, I intend to honour this commitment with more respect. |
