| I bit off more than I could chew with this owl painting. Because it's larger and I have more surface area to cover and I need to do a lot more studies and prep work and it's more detailed so in future when I do a large painting it's gonna take me about 2-3weeks to complete | |

| I did a 4 x 6 painting of a red squirrel. I also worked on an owl painting, and planning it. I completed the pencil sketch and found my references. Now I will begin studies. It is a larger piece so I needed more time and decided to paint the squirrel to meet the deadline | |
