Cold call door-to-door every day for a minimum of 7.5 hours (excluding Sundays, two vacation days in July, and if a life or death situation requires my attention for a family member). I’ll pitch my company’s product to as many people as possible in this time frame to increase my sales average and break my company’s sales record. Start pitching people at 11am and go until 3:30. Take a break until 4:45 then go from 5pm until 8:00pm.

Epiphany: I need to stop thinking in terms of zero-sum game. I always get down once I start missing a few days. Then I just want to stop all together. These goal achievements are not necessarily pass/or fail. Made or missed; especially over the life of the goal. If my goal is only 66% achieved over its 1 year life time it’s not like I’m walking away with nothing. If my goal is 300 more this year and I walk away with 200, it’s not zero. It’s 200 more. If my goal is to go to gym every day and I only make it in 75% of the time at the end of the year my ROI is not zero muscles lol A more accurate picture, if anything, is I’m walking away 75% stronger than I was before. 75% more fluent in a second language. X% more money in my bank account. |

| Rough day for my goal today, only got in a couple hours if that. Made two sales which is great for two hours but my goal was 7.5 hours. Could have been an amazing day. | |
