Margaret H. C. Giblin, J.D., M.C.P.

Margaret is a freelance writer on environmental and natural resource issues. Her experience includes practicing environmental law in the Baltimore office of Piper Rudnick LLP (now DLA Piper), working as a rural area planner for the Baltimore County, Maryland Office of Planning, researching and writing on a range of environmental and natural resource issues as a policy analyst for the non-profit Center for Progressive Reform, and teaching undergraduate courses in environmental and natural resource law at the University of Maryland, College Park. She holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Maryland School of Law, where she concentrated in environmental law. She also holds a Master in Community Planning from the University of Maryland, where she specialized in environmental and land use planning. She is a member of the Order of the Coif and Phi Beta Kappa.
